How do you use product thinking today?

I don't have a structured way to think about products yet

I've learned frameworks (Lean Canvas, PRDs) but only applied them in exercises

I use product thinking at work but haven't had to make tough trade-off calls

I can think through products well, but I struggle to do it under interview pressure

I tend to default to building what's asked instead of shaping what to build

What can you show as proof of your product work?

Nothing yet

I have a tear-down or side project, but nothing polished

I have 1-2 pieces but they're generic, not tied to real outcomes

I have portfolio pieces but they don't come up naturally in interviews

I'm in a PM role but not documenting my work

What's the most product-like work you've done?

I've read about PM work but haven't practiced any of it

I've built a side project or MVP, but haven't shipped in a real team

I've contributed to product work at my job, but haven't led a project end-to-end

I've shipped real product work but I struggle to explain scope, trade-offs, and results clearly

I'm leading product work now but I feel reactive and lack clarity on priorities

How do you use PM and AI tools?

I don't really know what tools PMs use day-to-day

I've tried tools like Notion or Miro, but not on a real project

I use PM tools at work, but not in a structured product workflow

I can use tools well but don't know how to showcase that in interviews

I'm not sure which thinking tools or frameworks to apply in my new role

What does your PM network look like?

I don't know any product managers personally

I know a few PMs but haven't really activated those relationships

I have PM relationships but no one who'd really advocate for me

I have a network but I'm not leveraging it during my job search

I mostly talk to my immediate team and haven't built cross-functional alliances

How visible is your PM ambition or work?

Nobody knows I'm interested in product management

People know I'm exploring PM but my "why PM" story isn't clear

I'm doing product work but it's not visible to people who matter

I have a pitch but it sounds like everyone else's

I'm in a PM role but I'm not sure how people perceive me
