Before you start prioritising features, you need to understand why you are prioritising and the purpose of this process.  In this lesson, I'll show you:

• How to say no to ideas during this process

When prioritising features, do you look at the value first? or the effort first? How do I know what makes up my MVP?

In this lesson, I'll show you the 3 step process I use to priorities anything I come across in Product Management. We'll talk about:

• The 3 step process to prioritise anything
• What are the right tools to use when prioritising?
• How to properly use tools like MSCW or Tshirt sizing to prioritise

There are loads of other tools out there, but MSCW (Must, Should, Could, & Won't) is one of my favourite tools to use. In this lesson, I'll take you through the step by step process on how to run an MSCW prioritisation session with your team.

• How do you define what a "Must, Should, Could, Won't" feature
• How do run an MSCW session virtually 

Estimation is another tricky thing to manage during this phase. To get an accurate estimation it requires asking the right questions and knowing the right method you can use to estimate  the effort for your product. In this lesson, we'll talk about: 

• How to estimate effort for high-level features 
• What are the best methods to use to estimate effort
• Who do you need to invite in the effort estimation workshop?
• What do you need to consider when working with teams that are not familiar with your product

After you've done your workshops, you'll need to make a call on the priority. In this lesson, I'll show you a framework I use to decide which feature should be in the MVP and which are the backlog items. We'll talk about: 

• What you should do to prepare for the workshop
• How to get buy-in on your priorities
• How to communicate back to the team so everyone's on the same page
• How to manage when priorities change for your product

After you've learnt the lessons, I'll provide you with 3 real-life examples of the prioritised MVP feature map you can take away.

• Example #2 is a sample MVP feature map for an eCommerce store so you can see the difference between theory and practice
